Our student application for residence in the Michigan Branch of the Telluride House beginning August 2024 is due Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at 11:59pm EST. All full-time University of Michigan students are eligible to apply, whether you’re an undergraduate, graduate, or professional student. You can also apply if you are not yet a University of Michigan student but are currently applying to the school and planning to matriculate - for example, if you’re currently a senior in high school or are in the process of applying to graduate school at Michigan.

The application process consists of two stages. First is the written application, which can be accessed at the link above. The written application includes background information, three essays of 500-1000 words each, and your most recent official transcript. Note that we do not require letters of recommendation.

House-members will evaluate your written application and determine which applicants will advance to the second stage: interviews. Those who are not selected for an interview are notified at this stage. Applicants who are selected for interviews will be contacted by our Recruitment Officers. This year, all of our interviews will take place in a virtual format via Zoom. Applicants will be notified of the final decision in February 2024.
