Selena (1997) Screening

In a joyous culmination of Hispanic Heritage Month, several house members gathered to revel in the captivating tale of Selena (1997), brilliantly portrayed by the talented Jennifer Lopez. As we immersed ourselves in Selena's inspiring journey, our hearts swelled with admiration for her relentless pursuit of her dreams.

We also had one house member make their rave tres leches cake. With each bite of the traditional, authentic recipe, we savored the sweet taste of unity and cultural appreciation. Through the magic of film and the pleasure of shared delicacies, this memorable event served as a powerful testament to the vibrant tapestry of Hispanic traditions, the enduring legacy of Selena Quintanilla, and the spirit of curiosity and cultural humility that lives at Telluride.
