From: Northville, Michigan
Year in School: First year
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Arabic at the University of Michigan in 2017. For the subsequent two years, I worked with various organizations that serve refugee populations in Pittsburgh, Turkey, and Greece. Wanting to gain a deeper understanding of how to best advocate for marginalized refugee populations within our legal system, I decided to return to Ann Arbor to pursue my law degree.
In my spare time, I enjoy drinking coffee, being active outdoors, reading (mostly fiction), drinking more coffee, and meeting new people!
