Change (pronounced 'Chong-ay') is a fourth year doctoral student in the Joint Social Work and Psychology program at the University of Michigan. She completed a White House Internship and U.S. Fulbright Program in Zambia before earning her Master of Public Health from Emory University. Her research focuses on youth holistic wellness, quality of life outcomes, and youth civic engagement in the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa. She approaches her work from a biopsychosocial perspective and community based participatory framework. When she is not in the classroom Change enjoys photography, writing, dancing, traveling and just being creative.
