Student Applications

Our fall application cycle is closed!!

Our winter application cycle will open in December/January

Application Process

The application process is designed to be challenging but not intimidating. The first round consists of several essays on a variety of topics. We highly recommend that you invest a significant amount of time into the essays. Although no applicant with weak essays has gone onto the second round, we do encourage candidates to use the application process to show us what they have to offer in their terms. The house has accepted members as much for their artistic portfolios and scientific research as for their essays and interviews.

Applicants selected for the second round will be contacted about an interview, either in person at Telluride House in Ann Arbor, Michigan or via telephone, Google Hangouts and/or Skype.

Dates and Deadlines

The application for the winter application cycle will go live in December/January and be due sometime in February/March 2018.
