Year in School: 3rd year PhD
Studying: Public Policy and Political Science
I am a 3rd-year doctoral student in a joint program with the Gerald E. Ford School of Public Policy and Political Science department. Before coming to UofM for graduate school, I lived in New York, where I received a masters degree from NYU and worked as a Program Coordinator for the EastWest Institute’s Global Cooperation in Cyberspace Initiative, where I currently serve as a Fellow. Even though I am interested in anything related to cyber, my specific research interest includes the relationship of digital security to international security, interdependence, cooperation, and state sovereignty.
My studies keep me fairly busy, but when I have free time, I enjoy dancing, meeting friends over dinner, catching a movie, or just relaxing with a book. When I have more than a week of free time, I love to travel, meet people from other cultures, and learn about their traditions, problems and happiness. I believe that by discovering the world through the eyes of others, one can better understand the world and his/her place in it.
